This Faribault Daily News story told the story of the Bethlehem Academy youth football program and its goal of growing the sport as well as promising young athletes that could potentially play a big role in the future of the varsity program. It was no coincidence that the head coach of the BA high school football team was also in charge of the youth program.

In my regular Faribault Daily News column, I covered the Wanamingo Bulldogs Granny Basketball team and its ambitions to expand into a local league. It's fair to say I've never witnessed anything like this. It was an inspiration to cover such lively, passionate women who truly love the game.
